PC's
for Maine is a 501(c)3 public computer literacy project
that enriches lives, educates the young and old, provides
cost-effective communications and increases job skills
for people and non-profit organizations all over the
state of Maine.
Small and Large Corporations, State Government Agencies,
and the Department of Defense provide the project with
an enormous supply of high-quality commercial grade
computer equipment. Volunteers and staff then test and
refurbish this equipment before giving it to people
in communities throughout Maine.
Businesses
reduce or eliminate disposal costs of managing electronics
when they donate to PC’s for Maine. The organization
collects the used equipment from companies for reuse.
